Last LAN party was awesome!

Looking back at yesterdays LAN party I feel like it went really well. We are getting to gaming faster and seeing less upfront technical issues. Maximillian is working on an web app that we can inventory our individual games. This will be really helpful as we can get a tentative road map for each LAN party based on who is coming. A little insight like that would help us install and patch accordingly helping us maximize game time.

Food was great, games were awesome. What does everyone think about July 17th for the next one?

Game dates, let’s make it happen.

Our last game date was in February, it’s time to get another one on the books.

I am not sure what any of you use for calendaring and time management but Google Calendar and Tungle make it easy to schedule things. You can sync your Google calendar with Tungle and allow others to see your free/busy time. It’s really simple to get it working and should help us geeks get our LAN parties scheduled a little easier.

In the mean time, who is free for some gaming on June 6th? That is a day proposed by Jeff. I should be available and I am willing to host. Let pin it down quickly so I can let my wife know.

LAN Party date

All things considered, I am thinking April 10th for the next LAN party. Who is able to make it?

Sad, sad day.

It pains me to say that the upcoming LAN party is cancelled. Rob has suggested getting together “online” later that evening. We could get a round or two of L4D or maybe that RUSE beta Kevin had mentioned.

Proposed date for next LAN party is April 3rd! Let me know if that works.

R.U.S.E. via Steam!

Hey! There is a new RTS / Strategy type game that is in open beta for the next 25 days. You can download the game for free if you have a Steam account (also free to create). I suggest that we all get this prepared and test it out in a LAN setting at the next party!
